Born on March 1988, Sean Michael Leonard Anderson alias Big Sean is an American rapper from Detroit Michigan. Sean began rapping since his youth, and when he was in high school, he hosted WHTD, a weekly show on a local hip-hop station. Sean also took part in rap battle conquests hosted by the station and his big break was in 2007 when he signed with Kanye West's newly formed label GOOD Music. He had previously met West through a hip-hop radio station 102.7 FM where he tried to flaunt his freestyle skills to the renown rapper. It was after Sean's in-studio performance that Kanye West offered the rapper a recording contract and helped him set up his mixtape album - Finally Famous Vol.1, which was released in September 2007. Sean released a second volume in 2009, followed by a third one in 2010, which featured Mike Posner, Tyga, and Drake among others. Assisted by Kanye West, Sean issued his official album Finally Famous, which featured the single "My Last" with Chris Brown's vocals. Renowned artists like Wiz Khalifa, Nas, Kid Cudi, and Pharrel Williams also featured on the album and the debut ranked No.3 on the 2011 Billboard 200 chart. After the debut release, Sean began working on a follow-up that was released in 2013. The album clinched a no.3 spot on the 2013 Billboard 200, boasting guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Young Jeezy, Common, Nas, and Juicy J, among others. The debut spawned six singles, including "Beware," featuring JheneAiko and Lil Wayne and "Switch Up," featuring Common. Sean later released Dark Sky Paradise on 2015, featuring an equally notable guest list that included Kanye West, Drake, Lil Wayne, Ariana, John Legend, and E-40. The debut also featured the number 11 hit song "I Don't Fuck With You," which ranked No.1 on the Billboard's Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B charts. After featuring on several tracks that included "Back Up" the Cruel Winter highlight and "Holy Key" by DJ Khaled, Sean edged closer to releasing his fourth album. In 2016 he released "Bounce Back" a lead single from his upcoming fourth album.
